RocLok Product Review Courtesy of myweeview.com

Have you ever locked yourself out of your house?  I’m not quite sure how it happens, but it has happened to me more times than I like to admit.  If this is something that is happening to you, there is hope:  The RocLok is a cleaver place to store an extra key outside.  No one will even know that the rock is actually a safety box for your key.  Do any of you have an extra key outside?  Let me guess,,, it’s under your front mat, or under a flower pot - I’m right aren’t I?!?  The RocLok looks and feels so much like a real rock, no one will even be the wiser that it is storing a key to your house.

I received a RocLok for review.  Although it is made from concrete, it feels, looks and is as heavy as a real rock.  The only difference is, once you turn it over, there is a combination lock with a little safety compartment inside.  The combination lock is set to 0-0-0 when you first get it, and there are easy to follow instructions on how to set your own combination.  With 1000’s of possible codes, no ones RocLok will be the same. Once you have your security code in, and turn the dial, you then have to give a pretty good yank on the top of the lock to get the cover off, and then Viola, you have your key to get into your house.

The RocLok can also stand up to the elements.  We haven’t had the greatest summer here - it actually rained for 3 whole weeks straight.  I had the RocLok outside the whole time in the rain, and the safety compartment was totally dry inside.  I was so surprised with all the rain we had, that it hadn’t seeped through!  I haven’t been able to test this in the winter, but am looking forward to putting it to the test.  I’m pretty sure it will make out fine.

The RocLok is great for regular visitors that you don’t want to give out your keys to.  If you hand out a key to someone like a handyman, and then decide that you no longer want them at your house, you are not guaranteed that you will get your key back.  However, with the RocLok you can easily change the combination at anytime, so rather than change all the keys and locks to your house, just change the combination on your RocLoc.  It’s way easier, and much cheaper.

The RocLok is also great for kids. Rather than giving children a single key to their house that they have to keep in a pocket, on a string around their neck,  or in their backpack, you don’t have to worry about the key getting lost or misplaced.  As long as they can remember the combination, they will always be able to get into the house.  And if they forget a quick phone call to you will save time getting them in.
